In 1989, Kathy was a successful executive recruiter, and she hired her own coach because she was working 70 hours per week and didn't have time for her husband and kids. After three weeks she had control of her time, only working 37 hours per week. The interesting outcome was her revenue. While she worked half the time, her billing rate increased 1000% (really!) She had so much fun learning coaching techniques that she then shared with her own search clients, that she went back to school and became a coach.
